Lyndhurst Bowling Club

Stage Two of the clubs Project has been completed with the help of £22,000 funding from The Suez Communities Trust. With the grant they have made a number of improvements to utilise the clubhouse and encourage more activities like a Local History group, introducing Carpet Bowls and shortly a Dementia Café will be completed.

A new floor and new windows in the ladies locker room plus new doors have been fitted, to improve the disabled access to the men’s locker room there is now have a ramp while the roof has been strengthened and new fascias have been fitted.

For the Local History Group a new projector, screen and projector trolley were purchased.

Fifteen new folding tables and eight sets of Junior bowls now help us to play carpet bowls and further develop our Junior section and schools programme, finally a Wi-fi security system has been installed plus there is Wi-fi within the clubhouse.
