Massive congratulations to Sophie Wood on winning the Girl’s Under 17 National Title at Leamington Spa.

Another National title came in the Para Pairs as Stockton West Ends Chris Bell and partner David Houghton  sealed the deal at Leamington Spa.

It was heartache in the men’s Senior Fours final as the Blackhall quartet of Albert Ward, Gary Dougherty, Ian Jackson and John Mansfield missed out on a measure on the last end, but still a fantastic acheivement lad’s.

And a massive well done to the Pelton Fell duo Steve Elbury & Malcolm Lusk on reaching the Foundation Pairs final, this will no doubt have wetted the lads appetite for more. 

Bowls England & Bowls Durham Update..

To compete in the above all competitors MUST be a fully paid up member of the club that they are representing AND an affiliated member of Bowls Durham prior to playing. Remember if you are a member of two clubs then you are currently required to pay two affiliation fee’s as per Bowls England rules. Remember Bowls Durham (Peter Coulson) needs to be updated with any additions, this will stop any repeat of the recent unfortunate club administration error that occurred.
