Darlington Woodland’s young gun Sophie Wood has recorded back to back British Bowls U18 International series gold medals.
The series was played at Leamington Spa with England securing the back to back title with a round of fixture to go.
Sophie featured in all three triples games on Day 1 and ended up narrowly losing a couple and winning one. Day 2 saw Sophie play in two of the three Pairs and winning on both occasions
It is great honour to represent your country at any level, many congratulations to the England squad.
