Appleby bowls club played host to the second women’s Northern Counties Championships
Weatherwise it was a bit like after the lord mayors show as the weather turned somewhat chilly to say the least.
Across the green all our players performed creditably however it was in the pairs where we enjoyed success.
The Consett Park duo of Jackie Rogan and Teresa Pearson took the title beating Yorkshire in the final.
Well done to all concerned on another well run event.
